Glaetzer Wines

Glaetzer Wines is in the Barossa Valley and was founded in 1995 by Colin Glaetzer, and is now run by his son Ben. It is best known for its red wines based largely on Shiraz, which display ripe, supple fruit, soft tannins, and a combination of ageability and approachability. The range of wines is headed by Amon-Ra, Glaetzer's flagship Shiraz. Robert Parker gave the 2003 vintage a score of 96-100, which helped establish it as one of the most sought-after and expensive Australian wines.
