Château Tour St Bonnet

This 40 hectare estate is situated in the north of the Médoc in the commune of St Christoly. Jacques Merlet ages his wine in large oak foudres for 18 months to protect the fruit characteristics of the wine. A much higher percentage of Merlot this vintage which is very evident with ripe plum fruits combining with a dollop of cassis. A chunky wine; well structured with firm tannins, this is will give excellent drinking (and value for money!) in a few years time.
