Delivery & Returns

Orders of £100 or over per delivery address are delivered free of charge (excluding En Primeur orders). Standard delivery is £9.95 per order for each delivery address where the order is under £100. Orders for En Primeur wine incur a delivery charge, whatever the order value.

We will deliver to any address in the mainland UK (Excluding Northern Ireland and any Isles).

For any orders placed before 12pm we also offer a 48 hour delivery option at a price of £11.95 whatever the order value (two working days). Excludes bank holidays.


Cellar Door Collection
You can collect your order from our Cellar Door shop in Melton, East Yorkshire HU14 3BQ, Mon to Fri 9am-6.30pm and Saturday's 10am-5pm for free.

Lakeland Vintners Collection
You can collect your order from our Lakeland Vintners depot, Ings, Kendal LA8 9PY, Mon to Fri 9am-3pm for free.

Delivery Times
Our usual delivery times are between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (except on bank holidays), and we aim to deliver within 4 working days of you placing your order. If you are not going to be available to take delivery, please state a safe place where we can leave the wine and we will do so. Alternatively, if you are not home and you have not specified a place to leave the wine, our driver will leave a card and so that we can arrange a more convenient delivery time.

If we have not attempted to deliver your wine within 7 working days of you placing your order we will refund you for the full delivery charge that you paid at the point of order. An attempted delivery is defined by the driver has been to your delivery address and left a card when nobody was in.

If you need to make a claim on a delivery, you must do so within 21 days of the initial order date.

Order Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order at any time for any reason up to 7 working days after receiving your wine, provided that all bottles are unopened, intact and in a suitable re-sale condition.

We will credit you with the price of the wine within 30 days of the wine being returned to us in satisfactory condition. Please note that there might be a small collection charge.


Returns Policy
· Not fully satisfied?  If you are not happy with any of our wines, beers or spirits, we will collect the product from you and refund* you or replace the goods without question. Please note that there might be a small collection charge.

· Damaged goods? If some or all of your wines are damaged during delivery, we will despatch a replacement order and arrange for the full damaged case to be collected FOC. 

· Want to cancel? Orders may be cancelled within 7 working days of receipt of goods. We will collect the product from you and a full refund* will be issued provided the goods remain in re-saleable condition. Please note that there might be a small collection charge.
