Whether you are organising a wedding, big birthday bash, corporate event for hundreds of people or simply a dinner party for close friends, we want to help make your occasion as special as possible.

Organising the wine is an integral part of any event and many people can find it intimidating buying wine in such large quantities. However, finding the perfect wines for a wedding or party can (and should be!) a very enjoyable experience. Don’t stress, we’re here to help make your event experience simple and fun by offering personal and experienced advice, whatever the occasion and budget.

Our passionate Cellar Door staff will take you through a range of wines to taste and guide you to match wines to each course. Alternatively you can taste at home - we will provide shortlisted wines and you can consider them at your leisure with our tasting notes to hand. We can also provide a range of speciality beers and spirits and will do whatever we can to help source any specific requests you may have for your event.

House of Townend will work with you to help select a drinks menu that reflects your specific needs and budget. We will build a full pricing proposal that includes:

-    Champagne and sparkling wines for your toast
-    Choice from over 1000 wines, fine wines, beers and spirits
-    Speciality kegs
-    Free glass hire service
-    Delivery service

CORPORATE SUMMER PARTY

“We hold our annual summer bash in our own grounds every August. All staff and their families are invited and we usually end up with about 150 guests, and loads of activities for everyone. Last year I ordered the drinks myself, but I was never 100% confident about what to order and how much to get. This year I asked House of Townend to supply the wine because I’d been to one of their ‘Gin tasting’ evenings and it was really well organised and fun and I saw how much choice there was. Suffice to say they chose us a really great range of wines, beers and soft drinks.  There was something for everyone –from Villa Sandi Rosé and Wold Top to Coke and San Pellegrino.
