The vineyards of La Encina are in Almansa and Caudete, Castilla la Mancha and Villenea in Alicante. It is the only land without phylloxera and practically without fungal attacks. The rocky terrain and cultivation of indigenous varieties of low production per vine, contribute to wines characterized by their aroma and body. Their commitment to this land, sustainability and biodiversity is a constant occupation, not a fad. Founded in 2006, Bodega la Encina specalises in organic farming and biodynamic practices among which predominantly follow the lunar calendar.
