Château Ducru-Beaucaillou

A very severe selection for the first wine has resulted in a leap in quality for the second wine at this Château. The grapes for this wine come from the central part of the St Julien commune. A super second wine from a "super second" Classed Growth property.

A very impressive bouquet, fresh and fragrant fruits with a savoury edge. The palate is very classy, with a chocolate textured foundation supporting ripe plum, blackcurrant and cherry fruits.

Enjoy with roast ribs of beef and yorkshire pudding with a horseradish, crème fraiche and mustard sauce.
