Château Langoa Barton
This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton and is also very fairly priced for the consistency of its quality. The grape varieties and wine-making methods are similar to these of Léoville Barton. Wow – what a wine! Aged in 60% new oak, this is another impressive vintage at Langoa.
Tasting Notes
A seriously good claret. Open and generous with great breeding and fruit. There is fragrance and sweetness, yet the wine remains firm and structured throughout. It builds in flavour as you taste, offering depth and complex notes of black fruits, spice, herbs and coffee.
Food Matches
We love to drink this wine with a fillet steak and blue cheese sauce.
