Les Allées de Cantemerle is the second wine of Château Cantemerle, a classified Fifth Growth estate in the Haut-Médoc. Produced from younger vines and carefully selected parcels, it is crafted with the same attention to detail as the grand vin but in a style that is more approachable in its youth. A refined bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe plum layered with cedar, graphite and a touch of violet. The palate is fresh and balanced, combining vibrant dark fruit with polished, fine grained tannins. Subtle notes of liquorice, spice and toasted oak add depth without overshadowing the fruit. Bright acidity lends energy and precision, carrying the wine through a long, elegant finish. A classically styled Haut-Médoc offering excellent balance, finesse and ageing potential.
