Château Pedesclaux

Purchased by Jacky Lorenzetti in 2009, a transformation at this Château has taken place bordering on a revolution. 12ha ov vineyards on the Milon plateau were added to the estate and a new winery to compete witht he very best installed. This is a Château to watch.
This is a very classic, stylish Pauillac. Deep and brooding, the nose is dominated by black fruit aromas with earthy forest floor. The palate is very precise as well as dense, cassis concentration and dark liquorice supported by super ripe tannins. There is a remarkable balancing freshness to this wine which bodes well for its ageing potential.
Harvest 8th - 20th September with a yield of 41 hl/ha. Aged in 50% new oak barrels.
