Château Doisy-Védrines
Château Doisy-Védrines, the largest of the Doisy estates and a 2ème Cru Classé Barsac property has been owned by the Castéja family since 1946. Doisy-Védrine's 27 hectares of vineyards are situated on the highest plateau in Barsac.
Tasting Notes
Thanks to the botrytis, this wine develops aromas of exotic fruits, quinces and orange. There is a lot of complexity in this wine, a good length in the mouth and a delicious smooth finish.
Food Matches
An excellent wine as an aperitif or alternatively try with blue cheese like Stilton.
Vinification
The grapes are handpicked. Only botrysised grapes are selected. Fermentation in barrels. Winemaker is Hervé Romat.
