Château Liot

This 25-hectare property has been in the David family for several generations and is currently run by Jean-Gérard David. Although it is labelled Sauternes, it is actually situated on the Haut-Barsac plateau on typical red clay over limestone soils, in the commune of Barsac, next to Château Climens.

A bright, pale yellow hue with a radiant, luminous clarity. On the nose it opens with a lively, tangy quench revealing aromas of dried fruits. The palate unfolds with notes of dried apricot and mirabelle plum along with subtle hints of verbena, bringing a refreshing lift and a long, elegant persistence.
Harvest 16th September - 8th October Aged in oak barrels for 18 months. Alc 13.5%.
