Château Coutet

Château Coutet is one of the oldest estates in the Barsac region of Sauternes, with a winemaking legacy dating back to 1643. Covering 38.5 hectares, the estate has long been renowned for producing classic sweet wines of elegance and finesse. Owned by the Baly family, Château Coutet benefits from the technical and commercial expertise of Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild.
A golden surge of honeyed apricot and ginger on the nose with the estate’s signature flinty precision. Luxurious layers of passion fruit and crème brûlée dance across the palate, held aloft by a vibrant, crystalline acidity. It finishes with a breathtaking saline snap, leaving a trail of white flowers and lemon curd that lingers long after the final sip.
Harvest 7th September - 14th October. Aged for 18 months in 25% new oak barrels. Residual sugar 155g/lt
