This Château has always had a very strong following amongst our customers here in the North of England - no doubt due to its continued policy of offering good Claret at a competitive price to its peers. A very good wine that will age well.
A smouldering, deep bouquet suggesting restrained power leads to a palate that is rich, powerful and tightly knit. Laden with cassis fruits, there is a streak of slate and graphite and a raspberry freshness providing a beautiful balance. An underlays of forest floor typicity, finely integrated oak and ripe tannins provide added complexity. Avery good result at Talbot this vintage.
