Chateau Maine Gazin

Château Maine Gazin is a 7.5 hectare wine estate located 50 km north of Bordeaux, in the ancient GalloRoman village of Plassac where winemaking dates back to the 1st century. Geoff and Marion Cook came to France from Sydney, Australia, with the goal of making good wine in the best region in the world. Château Maine Gazin was purchased in April 2015 and has since been completely renovated.

This cuvée offers a very beautiful color of a dark red with purple reflections. The bouquet is generous, with aromas of red fruits, blackberries and blackcurrant is extended by spicy notes. The mouth is rich, fleshy, the tannins present but without any roughness are coated with a velvety substance which gives it a persistent and balanced finish.
