Château Lagune

Situated just below the village of Margaux and next to Château Cantemerle, this has long been a very popular château. Since 2000 La Lagune has been in the hands of the talented Jean-Jacques Frey who is producing excellent wines year after year.

A very exotic, rich, ripe and overt wine that has immediate appeal, with sumptuous cassis flavours very evident. The tannins are soft and support well. Always tremendously popular, lovers of this château will be delighted.

Perfect with a classic beef bourguignon.

Aged in 50% new oak this is a big, rich wine.
