Château Kirwan is a 3eme Cru Grand Cru Classé Margaux property, situated in the commune of Cantenac, that has returned to its former glories in recent years.
Kirwan has produced another cracking example of Margaux in 2025. Rich in style, layered with cassis, raspberry and an edge of pomegranate. There is a dense core of spice, vanilla oak and sweetness to the fruit character, all bound in by polished tannins and balancing freshness.
Harvest 9th-20th September with a yield of 25hl/ha. The maceration period took 20 days during which both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations took place at the same time. Aged in 35% new oak.
