In 2025 Grand Corbin made a wonderfully judged wine with the dominant Merlot component and smaller yields of just 30 hl/ha giving a restrained, elegant, and yet opulent stye. Succulent red and black cherry fruit, laced with dark chocolate, coffee and baked plum. The tannins are held in check by the ripe fruit, a benefit of the blue clay soil. The result is a muscular yet rounded and approachable wine with real breeding and complexity.
