François Boulanger operates his family Domaine using classic Loire varietals such as Gamay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Melon de Bourgogne. Producing IGP and Vin De France wines.
On the nose intense herbaceous notes with a touch of citrus coming through. Asparagus, tomato leaf, orange peel and lemon. On the palate there is a mouth-watering acidity with a long lingering finish.
The vines are planted of Schist soil. This soil retains heat well for grape ripening and is good for water drainage. The fractured layers of minerals and rocks allows for the roots to penetrate further down and access a natural water source. Fermentation is carried out in Stainless Steel and is rested before bottling.
