This south-west facing, single 0.96 plot of vines was planted in 1990 on a steep slope to the east of the village of Saint-Romain towards Auxey-Duresses. The soil is predominantly white marl and limestone with some clay. This is one of our favourite wines from this domaine.

The bouquet is bright with tropical fruit aromas leading to a zesty palate full of grapefruit and pineapple characters. There is a slatey minerality, a note of gunflint and a quenching finish that is long and infused with a touch of hazelnut.
Vinified in 350 litre oak barrels of which only 15% is new.
