Louis Latour

The Latour family have long been established in the Burgundy wine trade, having begun as winegrowers back in 1768 in the village of Aloxe-Corton. They create wines from their own 50 hectare domaine, as well as from the grapes which they purchase through the negociant arm of the business. Their wines have lots of character, intense aromatics and benefit from a long finish.
ThePouilly-Fuissé 2014 reveals a nice and brilliant pale yellow colour. On the nose, complex aromas of white flowers and acacia, honey and white fruits. On the palate, it is opulent and elegant. You will find floral notes, almond paste and fresh hazelnut. It is a little spicy on the finish.
Ideal with shellfish and charcuterie
The grapes are handpicked from vines which are 30 years old. Fermentation: Traditional in stainless steel vats, temperature controlled with complete malolactic fermentation Ageing: 8 to 10 months ageing in stainless steel vats.
