Mauro Estévez

In 1940 José senior began making wine. His son Pepe came on board and modernised the production, cellar and winemaking process. Mauro - Pepe's son - has now joined, so this is a real family affair. Their speciality is using local grapes and manual harvesting, traditional methods are preferred here. Their plots all enjoy different micro-climates and landscapes, the wines produced have received global recognition.

Straw yellow with a green shimmer running through. Intense on the nose, floral notes include blossom, white/ yellow flowers, rose and honeysuckle. Tropical, stone and green fruit bouquet. Melon, apple, pear and orange skin. Complex structure balancing marked acidity, silky mouthfeel and fresh long finish.

Drink with Seafood and white fish.

Most plots are located in close proximity to the Arnoia river on granite/ clay soils. Dry ice maceration enables as much aromatic quality of the grapes to be extracted as possible.
