Pyramid Valley

Pyramid Valley is one of New Zealand's great wine estates located in North Canterbury on the South Island of New Zealand close to Christchurch city. The region has a cool, dry climate with lots of sun and a long growing season. The Southern Alps to the west ensure low rainfall and long, dry autumns along with a high diurnal range help to create concentrated and expressive wines

Tasting Notes

Fragrant blackberry and raspberry with hints of liquorice, black pepper and clove. Sweet red plum, cherry and spice. Richly textured with lovely minerality. Complex with a long and silky sweet berry finish.

Destemmed, followed by fermentation in both stainless steel and oak vats. Matured in oak for 10 months.
