This domaine produces some of the finest, traditional wines of the Gevrey Appellation. Frédérique Goulley, the niece of Christian Sérafin, who has been working alongside her uncle for over ten years now, is now very much the winemaking driving force at the domaine, while Christian slows down. Usually the star in the Serafin crown of Gevrey Chambetin's this is a serious Pinot Noir on all levels. In 2022 the wine shows tremendous breeding and power, with very ripe sweet and rich red and black fruits, a distinct smoky, feral quality that gives weight to the mid palate, and a long, opening lush finish. Balanced, fresh, complex and beautifully held by the sweet oak. A remarkable wine that will age well.

100% destemmed, fermented in 100% new oak and aged for 18 months. A minor sorting at the crusher gave yields of approximately 45hl/ha in 2022.
