Angludet has long been the quintessential ‘insiders’ Bordeaux - a classy Margaux that offers great value and the capacity to age well.

Château d'Angludet

Owned by the Sichel family and managed since 1989 by Ben, the youngest of the Sichel brothers. This property is blessed with ideal conditions for producing splendidly consistent wines. The sandy and gravelly soil provides good natural drainage, which increases concentration in the fruit. Careful selection ensures a perfect balance between fruit, structure and tannins. Yields of 40hl/ha this year, the fermentation was carried out in concrete vats followed by ageing in 32% new oak barrels.
A beautiful fragrant Angludet, with a slight herbal character. It has concentrated lush black fruits, great balance with fresh acidity and length. Ripe tannins integrate well with cedar oak. Soft, alluring and extremely fine.
Enjoy with pot roast beef in a red wine jus!
