Château Potensac

From the same stable as Léoville Las Cases, this property is run by Jean-Hubert Delon and is situated in the far north of the Médoc, close to Château Sociando Mallet, and it gets better every year.
Produced by the winemaking team from Château Léoville Las Cases. Dark purple in colour, the bouquet is classic with blackcurrant fruits, cedar oak and spice. The palate is intense and fruit packed, chalky tannins, cedar and forest floor with a light smattering of oak on the finish. This is a classic and stylish claret that has a wide following.
Ideal as an accompaniment to braised beef, a pot roast and grilled asparagus.
Yields of 38hl/ha. Aged in 28% new oak
