Château Les Hauts Conseillants

Located in Lalande de Pomerol, just across from Pomerol itself, the 10 hectare Château Les Hauts-Conseillants is owned and managed by the Bourotte family. Like some of the best soils in Pomerol, Les Hauts-Conseillants lies on a clay/gravel bed mixed with sand and produces a consistently full bodied plumy wine. This is a super little Château that always performs well.

A powerful, forward bouquet of crushed black cherry. On the palate there is a little liquorice, succulent ripe plums and a very classy hint of pencil lead.

Superb with a pink rack of lamb.

Aged in 35% new oak
