Château Langoa Barton

This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton and is also very fairly priced for the consistency of its quality. The grape varieties and wine-making methods are similar to these of Léoville Barton. Wow – what a wine! Aged in 60% new oak, this is another impressive vintage at Langoa.

A small estate of just 18ah and planted to 5 main blocks, this is a jewel in the Barton crown, making exemplary St Julien. Always forward, classy and elegant, this is cracking 2025, rich and very ripe nose, appealing with notes of mulled red fruits, plum, cherry and a hint of spice. The palate is rich yet not overly concentrated, moreish and svelte with a delicious succulent mouthfeel and fruit quality with a touch of bergamot on the finish.
Harvested between 4th - 19th September with a yield of only 20hl/ha and aged in 60% new oak for 18 months. To be bottled in June 2027. 13.5% vol.
