This château is just getting better and better under the ownership of Americans Denise and Stephen Adams. The bouquet is fragrant and fresh, red cherries, raspberries and flowers. The palate is rich and plump, with a lovely juicy acidity giving perfect balance and finely grained tannins giving strength and underlying support. This really is a very classy wine, beautifully defined with a very polished finish.
Delicious with beef ribs with mushrooms, bacon and potatoes.
Produced biodynamically. Aged for between 16 and 18 months in 50% new French oak barrels, 30% one year barrels, 10% cement eggs and 10% amphora.
