Super ripe black fruits, this is simply dripping with ripeness yet there is an excellent balancing freshness and beautifully singing tannins.

Château de Malleret

A beautiful estate in the Haut-Medoc situated only 15km from the city of Bordeaux. Owned by Bruno Von der Heyden and Florence Deguillaume, who have invested heavily in the 54 ha of vines and wine cellars over recent years.
Super ripe black fruits, this is simply dripping with ripeness yet there is an excellent balancing freshness and beautifully singing tannins. This is an impressive wine with a velvety texture that extends right through to the long finish. Those who bought the super 2010 vintage will know the heights that this château reaches.
Pair with spiced lamb shanks, or a Lancahire hotpot with black pudding and a red wine coulis

Highly Recommended - Decanter, March 2023, Bordeaux Cru Bourgeois 2018 Panel Tasting, 91 points: “Inviting milk chocolate and blackcurrant notes on the note, scented violets and roses. Rounded, polished tannins, and some slateyness on the finish persists beyond the floral notes.”
