This is a highly regarded Château under the same ownership as Château Beychevelle. Located on the left bank of the Gironde, between the communes of Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Beaumont draws its finesse and its delicacy from the deep gravels of the best soils of the Haut-Médoc

Tasting Notes

An impressive, powerful and intense bouquet. Jammed with intense black fruits, the tannins are beautifully entwined. There are hints of pencil lead and a graphite infused structure, bolstered by a higher than normal proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, suggests this wine is a real puncher this vintage. Very impressive.

Sirloin of beef served pink with roast potatoes. Yummy!

Yields of 28hl/ha, aged for 12-14 months in 30% new barrels, 50% 1 year old and 15% 2 year old for 14 months
