This second growth estate is run by the Durbourdieu family, who took over the property in Barsac in 1924. Now in its fourth generation, Fabrice and Jean-Jacques Durbourdieu continue their father’s legacy, producing exceptional wine year after year.
Elegant and expressive revealing aromas of baked pear, quince and orange blossom layered with hints of honey and sweet spice. The palate is rich yet beautifully focused, combining luscious orchard fruit with notes of brioche and candied citrus. A vibrant streak of acidity and underlying minerality brings freshness and precision throughout. Long, refined and harmonious on the finish, with lingering floral and saffron nuances.
