Vieux Telegraphe Rouge 2010 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe

VTEL230
A world-renowned domaine, producing exceptional rich full-bodied heady wines year on year. Very small yields of barely 21 hl/ha have delivered small quanties of one of the greatest wines ever produced at this domaine. Similar to the great 2007 with the density of the superb 2009, this vintage has produced a very complex wine.

Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe

Vieux Télégraphe is one of the most renowned estates of the Southern Rhône. The large Domain has about 45 hectares of red grapevines planted, with an average age of around 55 years. Blessed with one of the finest locations in the area, the particularly hot microclimate is such that the Brunier Family, owners of the estate for almost a century, are able to harvest as much as a week ahead of their neighbours.

Tasting Notes

Very intense black fruits, olive notes with interweaving flavours of liquorice and spice. A superbly structured wine with sumptuous tannins providing for superb ageing.

Food Matches

Enjoy with the finest cuts of red meats, lamb and even goat. Good cheese and the smellier the better!
