Château Larrivet-Haut-Brion

Château Larrivet Haut-Brion was acquired by the Gervoson family in 1987. They restored the estate's unity, once again combining the Château, outbuildings, 13 hectares of grounds, and 42 hectares of vines under one owner, as well as replanting 18 hectares of land that had laid fallow.
Extravagant and intense aromas of oyster shell and fresh sea air make this wine so enticing. The palate is steely and mineral, with notes of gunflint perfectly infused with the tight and seamless white fruit core of pineapple and gooseberry. There is a delicate underlay of subtle oak that provides added dimension. A super wine!
Harvested between the 5-13 September with a yield of 48 hl/ha. Aged in 70% new oak 1/3 in 500lt demi muids.
