This classic Châteauneuf estate was bought by the Brunier family of Vieux Télégraphe in 1986 and investments in the winery and vineyard soon followed. The result is over 30 hectares of top Châteauneuf terroir with vines approaching full maturity, vinified in a modern winery.
A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, Rhone Valley enthusiasts will be delighted with this rich, earthy wine. Filled with black cherry fruits, it is beautifully
balanced by a fresh spiciness on the finish.
The vines are 25 years old on average, harvesting is by hand and the grapes are de-stemmed before being gently pressed. Vinification in temperature controlled cement cuves for 15 to 20 days. The wine goes through a full malolactic fermentation and is then aged in huge (50 hectolitre) oak vats for 10 months.
