Château Mauvesin-Barton

This 46 hectare property was acquired by the Bartons in 2011, since then the vineyards have been overhauled and the cellars completely renovated. The grapes undergo a careful selection process. They are then transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for fermentation and maceration. The aging process lasts 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels, one-third of which are new. These barrels are placed on a gravel bed to help regulate humidity and promote the optimal maturation of the wine.
