Château Langoa Barton
This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton and is also very fairly priced for the consistency of its quality. The grape varieties and wine-making methods are similar to these of Léoville Barton. Wow – what a wine! Aged in 60% new oak, this is another impressive vintage at Langoa.
Tasting Notes
A bouquet of dark berries, smoke, cigar box and some toast. On the palate dark berries, green bell pepper, good acidity and sticky tannin. This is a lovely surprise.
Food Matches
We love to drink this wine with a fillet steak and blue cheese sauce.
