This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton. The grape varieties and wine-making methods are similar to those of Léoville Barton, producing a classic, structured wine with immense depths of ripe cassis fruits and serious tannins.

Château Langoa Barton

This 20 hectare estate is the ‘sister’ to Léoville Barton and is also very fairly priced for the consistency of its quality. The grape varieties and wine-making methods are similar to these of Léoville Barton. Wow – what a wine! Aged in 60% new oak, this is another impressive vintage at Langoa.
A bouquet of dark berries, smoke, cigar box and some toast. On the palate dark berries, green bell pepper, good acidity and sticky tannin. This is a lovely surprise.
We love to drink this wine with a fillet steak and blue cheese sauce.
