Over 40 years ago, a handful of winemakers, who believed their land and their wine were totally unique, came together to create a business that was founded on three important beliefs: unity, ethics and excellence. Val d’Orbieu was born. Val d’Orbieu is a company that is all about people. It stands for a certain vision of wine and wine growing, combined with a pioneering spirit that its founders wanted to be at the very core of the business. Their vision continues through their work today, its origins inspiring excellence. Based in Narbonne in the Languedoc Roussillon, Val d’Orbieu is the largest still wine cooperative group in France this in single biggest wine region in the world. Today Val d'Orbieu represents 1,591 members, divided over 11 wine cooperatives and 55 domaines and châteaux.
This wine offers a clear and brilliant colour. The nose reveals a beautiful harmony of white fruits, peach and apricots aromas. The fresh and full-bodied palate offers a beautiful lightly woody balance and roasted chestnuts aromas on the finish.
Pair with a nice fresh salmon fillet and new potatoes.
