Famille Hugel

One of the most famous names in Alsace, Famille Hugel was founded in 1639 and is still 100% family owned and managed by the 12th consecutive generation today. The family owns 30 hectares in Riquewihr in prime sites, more than half of which are Grand Cru, planted with only the noble grape varieties of Alsace. The winemaking is now under the watchful eye of Marc Hugel. The Hugel family were also the pioneers of late-harvest Alsace wines, drafting a law enshrining their production in 1984.
Rich, ripe and fruit-driven with notes of honey and roasted pistaccio, apple pie and a touch of cream and spice.
Delicious with lobster, spicy prawns and poached chicken dishes
