Chateau de Lascaux

Château de Lascaux have owned the same Vineyard for fifteen generations. Jean-Benoît Cavalier is the current proprietor. Since 1984 he has expanded the estate from 25 to 85 hectares and resorted the ancient cellars. The vineyards are located in an isolated corner of the region. Sea and Mountains are close meaning the microclimate in the vineyards is unique within the region. Jean-Benoît is very passionate about supporting the richness and diversity of this ecosystem, so the Domaine's conversion to organic viticulture was an obvious one, gaining their organic certification in 2009 and their Biodynamic conversion in 2018. The Château de Lascaux wines really are generous, friendly wines of superb quality and excellent value for their price category.
