Tight and broody aromas of black cherry and cassis, the palate explodes with a cascade of black fruits, a touch of dark chocolate as well as black olive and a lick of spice giving added dimension. There is a lovely, refreshing attack of juicy acidity giving an impressive equilibrium and the tannin structure is perfectly woven.
Delicious with rare roast beef with seasonal vegetables and yorkshire pudding.
Yields of 36 hl/ha and aged in 70% new oak for 18 months.
