Touriga Franca Wines

Used in the production of Port and dry red wines, Touriga Franca, or Francesa, is a Portuguese red grape. Although more widely planted than its presumed parent, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca is not as well known, and Touriga Franca wine is only produced on any sort of large scale in Portugal. Touriga Franca has a full body and high acidity, with a strong fruity taste and sweet sensation.
