Old Mout Cider
It all started on a cycling trip to England over 65 years ago when Wanda Tait sampled the local Scrumpy and her taste buds fell in love. On her return to Nelson she set up the cidery in a shed and Old Mout (rhymes with fruit) was born. Justin & Scottie two pioneering young guys with a passion for cider and giving new ideas a go then took over. The adventurous duo who were inspired by amazing island fruits developed a range of award winning flavours in New Zealand. Old Mout's dedicated cidery and expert cider makers use local sun-ripened fruit to make Australasia’s most-awarded cider.
Exotic sweet pineapple & juicy raspberry on the nose. The palate is refreshingly light, exotic fusion of the natural sweetness of pineapple and tart raspberry.
Serve chilled with ice and a slice of pineapple.
