Cavino Winery

Cavino was founded in 1958 and is located on the slopes of Aigialia, amid charming vineyards. The location is a unique combination of mountains and the sea and creates a special climate that gives local grapes their exceptional high quality. There, it uses mostly indigenous grape varieties such as Roditis, Lagorthi, Sideritis, Mavro Kalavrytino, and Mavrodaphne, as well as international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The winery has state-of-the-art winemaking equipment, two modern wine bottling lines and fully air-conditioned warehouses for preserving and ageing the wines. Their main goal and vision is to promote Greek vineyards both in Greece and abroad and are committed to producing high-quality wines.
Fragrant and finely textured, showing layers of rose water, grapefruit zest and white peach. Bright acidity frames a core of orchard fruit and delicate spice, whilst a whisper of fresh herbs adds complexity. The finish is clean, lifted and floral, leaving a lingering impression of citrus blossom and mountain herbs.
Fish and seafood
Careful handling of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine stays in contact with its fine lees for almost two months.
