In the Uco Valley located in the district of San José de Tupangato in the world renowned "Ruta del Vino" you can find the Atamisque Estate. The terroir of the San José district of Tupangato is one of the best in Mendoza due to the combination of sunny days and cold nights which are required to obtain the perfect concentration of colours, aromas and soft tannins which produce powerful, elegant wines with great ageing potential.

Tasting Notes

Deep, dark red in appearance. Complex aromas affording great balance between spicy, floral and jam notes. Intense on the palate revealing powerful and balanced fruit flavours and rounded tannins giving the wine a wonderful mouthfeel.

This wine makes a classy choice to serve with roast beef or lamb and venison casseroles.

Vinification

The grapes are hand-picked.Cold maceration for 5 days . Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks (25/28°C). Aged in 100% French oak barrels for 16 months.
