Pennington’s Spirits

Mike Pennington started producing Kendal Mint Cake Liqueur in 1990 behind his bar in Kendal and it took him 25 years before he first bottled it to sell outside of his bar. Mike’s family business now find themselves based in Pennington’s Distillery in the Lake District National Park with a product range boasting dozens of international awards.

An abundance of rhubarb notes on the nose are complemented by a delicate gin base and the sweetness from sugar to carefully balance the tart rhubarb.

Serve with Indian or Mediterranean Tonic Water or as the base for a longer cocktail.
