Lemon Tonic is Fever-Tree's name for Bitter Lemon. By blending the highest quality Sicilian lemon oils with their signature quinine from the Congo they have restored the taste and quality of this fantastic mixer.

Fever-Tree

Fever-Tree is a producer of premium drink mixers. Following a 'tonic tasting' on the US market Charles Rolls - who built his reputation running Plymouth Gin - joined forces with Tim Warrillow who had a background in luxury food marketing to analyse the composition of mixers. They discovered that the majority were preserved with sodium benzoate or similar substances while cheap orange aromatics such as decanal and artificial sweeteners were widespread. And so started a 15 month journey. Days in the British Library researching quinine sources from as far back as 1620 trips to find the purest strains of this key ingredient and 5 iterations of the recipe were tasted before Charles and Tim were happy with the result and the first bottle of Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water was produced in 2005. Today Fever-Tree makes a variety of products including tonic water ginger beer and lemonade.
The natural lemons create a translucent liquid that is pale yellow in colour. A burst of fresh lemons hits you as you open the bottle. The soft, subtle and supportive lemon notes are balanced by the bitterness of natural quinine to give a refreshingly crisp flavour. The finish is clean with none of the usual cloying mouth feel of other bitter lemons.
Perfectly balanced to enhance the flavour of the great gins and finest vodkas. Equally delicious as a soft drink.
