Domaine André Perret

André Perret makes world-renowned Condrieu from his family-owned domaine, one of the best sites in the region. He took control of the concern, now 4.8 hectares, in 1985 and built a new cellar ten years later. With his wife and two daughters, André makes three wines, the top one from the vineyard Coteau de Chéry. His wines tend to balance richness and freshness perfectly, with classic peach and apricot aromas - the ideal expression of this classic Rhône white.

Tasting Notes

The unique soil, a sandy decomposed granite rich in quartz and mica, helps give the wine its ripe pear aromas, followed by exotic mango and apricot palate, with good tension and grip on the finish.

Food Matches

A great wine with pork strogonoff.
