Chaffey Brothers Battle for Barossa Le Conquistador Garnacha Tempranillo

CHAF015
One of two wines that look at the opposing sides in the battle for the Barossa ranges in the early 1800s between the Spanish & French forces. This is the Spanish version. Elegant and textured with a nod back to the classic wines of Rioja.

Producer and Tasting Notes

Chaffey Brothers

With wines which make statements as bold as their avant-garde labels, innovative Australian wine producers, The Chaffey Bros have just exploded onto the scene with some fantastic, distinctive, modern wines! As well as minimal intervention winemaking to help emphasise pure, structured fruit, they also utilise the lost art of small batch blending. The result is amazing with wines that epitomise everything great about the Barossa and Eden Valleys.

Tasting Notes

Cherry and cassis aromas mingle with hints of chocolate and spicy florals. Dark yet luminous crimson colour hints at the rich semi-savoury dark cherry and cola palate that finishes with a hint of red cherry juiciness.
