Aromas of smoke with a cloying sweetness. A burst of bittersweetness surges on the palate, with notes of cardamom, peppermint and coffee. Dark chocolate and menthol eucalyptus develop, obscuring the fruit and floral notes usually found at the heart of Ardbeg. The aftertaste lingers long and bold, with an almost anaesthetising sensation.
