Bacardí Ltd.
Don Facundo Bacardí Massó immigrated to Santiago de Cuba in 1830 when he set up business as a wine merchant and importer. Within a few years he began to experiment with the distillation of rum. After years of experimentation he achieved a breakthrough that revolutionised the manufacture of rum and eventually transformed it from a local Caribbean beverage into an internationally consumed spirit. Bacardi has a portfolio of more than 200 brands and labels spanning a wide variety of spirits categories. The company continues to develop and acquire new brands.
Tasting Notes
Bacardí Carta Blanca is a light tasting and aromatic white rum with delicate floral and fruity notes.
Food Matches
Most people would tell you that Barcardi is best used in mojito cocktails, but we love it mixed with cranberry juice and a wedge of lime!
